13 Internationalization Thought Leaders Share Tech Insights at Summer Davos In June 2023, five distinguished faculty members took center stage at the World Economic Forum’s 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions (Summer Davos) in Tianjin, addressing diverse challenges from healthcare and well-being to economic growth and innovation’s role in improving people’s lives. HKUST Co-Hosts Needham Conference HKUST jointly hosted a conference with the Joseph Needham Foundation for Science and Civilisation in March 2023. The gathering featured 20 leading scholars from institutions in over 10 countries and regions, who explored how international exchange has influenced the development of science over thousands of years. Strengthening Connections through Academic Alliances HKUST’s global partnerships have grown to 315 over the year. As a member of various academic alliances including the Asian Universities Alliance (AUA) and the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), we participated in numerous meetings with overseas institutions to share knowledge and best practices for advancing learning and research, as well as co-hosting various students enrichment programs. Employable Graduates HKUST Graduates Rank First in Hong Kong in Employability Ranking HKUST remains top in Hong Kong in the Times Higher Education Global University Employability Ranking 2023-24. Meanwhile, Career Mosaic, the campus-wide face-to-face job fair, resumed.
