CHINESE MAINLAND FOOTPRINT Extending Reach and Interaction to Accelerate Development The University actively pursues closer partnerships and collaboration with Chinese Mainland institutions and government bodies to advance innovation and contribute to national development. During 2024–25, HKUST hosted over 220 delegations from the Chinese Mainland, including prominent leaders such as Prof. DOU Xiankang, President of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; Dr. WU Yan, Vice Minister of Education; and Mr. WANG Weizhong, Governor of Guangdong Province.
