Securing Robust Funding Support 成功獲取撥款支持研究項目 Top-tier Researchers 頂尖研究人員 The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is Hong Kong’s first research university. Guided by a steadfast commitment to advancing society through knowledge creation and discovery, the University fosters innovation and progress with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research and real-world impact. Innovation is deeply embedded in our institutional DNA, combining intellectual exploration, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to global engagement—positioning HKUST among the world’s leading institutions in science and technology. HKUST comprises the Schools of Science, Engineering, Business and Management, and Humanities and Social Science, as well as the Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies. As 2026 marks our 35th anniversary, we celebrate our legacy with the exciting news of gaining approval from the HKSAR Government to establish Hong Kong’s third medical school at HKUST. This new endeavor will significantly enhance our interdisciplinary capabilities and create transformative opportunities for innovation in health and medicine.
